History
Zeta Mu was installed on October 9, 1993 and has remained the only sorority on the University of Alaska Fairbanks campus. Our charter members are Crystal Pike,Kimberly Wallace, Stephanie Kocer, Paige Kanuer, Theresa Chilson, Deborah Abandond, Tamara Borjon, Karen Bourdukofsky, Stephanie Cushing Shelley Goicoechea, Sonja Nelson, Melissa Robinson, Ginger Stock, Angela Yukiwelfley, Elizabeth Congdon, and Sandra Stillion.
Sigma Sigma Sigma was founded in 1898 and is a national sorority with more than 100 chapters across the country and has grown to include over 100,000 members. Tri Sigma and 25 other sororities are part of the National Panhellenic Conference. NPC sororities are known as social, general sororities or women's fraternities. Service, education, scholarship programming, and social activities are the main focuses of all NPC sororities.
